The Intel Xeon Platinum 8360HL is the large memory variant of the 8360H, a high frequency 24 core Cooper Lake processor from the 3rd Gen Xeon Scalable family built for four and eight socket servers on the Cedar Island platform. It runs 24 cores and 48 threads at a 3.00GHz base clock with 4.20GHz max turbo, backed by 33MB of L3 cache and six channels of DDR4 memory at up to 3200MT/s. The HL designation raises supported memory capacity to 4.5TB per socket for Intel Optane persistent memory 200 series configurations.

Compatible with: four and eight socket Cedar Island platforms with Socket P+ (LGA4189) that accept 3rd Gen Intel Xeon Scalable Cooper Lake processors. Cooper Lake and Ice Lake are not interchangeable: the two families share a pin count but use different sockets and platforms. Mainstream dual socket Dell PowerEdge and HPE ProLiant servers do not support this processor family. Confirm platform support and chassis cooling for the 225W TDP before installation.
