Intel Xeon E7-4800 V1 Processors

The original Intel Xeon E7-4800 processors launched the E7 line in 2011 on the Westmere EX architecture, bringing up to 10 cores per socket and the deep RAS feature set of the E7 family to four socket mission critical servers on the LGA1567 platform.

This generation anchors Dell PowerEdge R910 and M910 era systems and other four socket platforms still carrying legacy databases and consolidation workloads. Refurbished first generation parts from the 4807 through the 4870 are the practical way to fill sockets or replace failed units in matched sets.
