The HPE 777283-001 is the secondary riser kit for the Gen9 ProLiant 2U platform, carrying three PCIe Gen3 slots, two x16 and one x8, in the secondary riser position served by the second processor. The cage circulates under 768343-001, the related assembly under 729810-001, and the option number is 768342-B21; all identify one kit. It doubles the expansion capability of a dual processor chassis and is the part to fit when building out the second bank or replacing a damaged riser. Note that CPU 2 must be installed for these slots to function.
