It installs in a standard PCIe 4.0 expansion slot and provides 12Gb/s SAS and 6Gb/s SAS/SATA connectivity across 16 internal lanes, with hardware RAID 0, 1, and 10 plus non RAID pass-through for up to 32 drives. As an entry class controller it carries no onboard cache, keeping cost down for boot volumes and simple mirrored arrays.
