The Dell PERC H330 mezzanine controller brings entry level hardware RAID (0, 1, 5, 10, 50) to Dell's mezzanine based platforms. It connects eight internal ports across two x4 SAS connectors, supporting 12Gb/s SAS and 6Gb/s SATA drives over a PCIe 3.0 x8 interface. The H330 is a cacheless controller, a good fit for straightforward RAID 1 and RAID 10 boot and data volumes; workloads that lean on RAID 5 or RAID 50 write performance are better served by a cached PERC.
