It carries sixteen hot swap SFF front bays to the storage controller and is the board to replace when a 16x2.5 chassis loses drive detection. The related expansion board circulates under DTCR0 and is a separate physical part. Teams keeping R830 systems in production will find this the direct OEM spare.
