Dell lists it as the V2 assembly card backplane for the all NVMe 24x2.5 configuration, pairing the backplane board with its NVMe expansion card so all twenty four small form factor bays can run U.2 NVMe drives with the correct cabling. It is the kit to fit when converting or repairing a chassis built for full NVMe density.
