The Dell KW7N6 is the BOSS riser board for 15th generation PowerEdge 1U platforms. It is the dedicated carrier that seats the BOSS S1 boot controller card in its own position, keeping the mirrored M.2 boot solution out of the standard PCIe slots. It is the part to fit when adding the BOSS boot option to a chassis or replacing a damaged riser. The BOSS controller card itself circulates under WX5KW and is listed separately; it is not included here.
