As a performance class controller it supports the full hardware RAID set (0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50, 60) plus non RAID pass-through, making it the standard choice for virtualization hosts, database servers, and write intensive arrays. This is the PCIe adapter variant of the H755; the front mounted (fPERC) version is listed separately.
