The Dell PERC H755 Adapter is the PCIe card form of Dell's PERC 11 flagship, and the counterpart to the front mounted H755 that ships from the factory in most 15th generation PowerEdge builds. You reach for the adapter when the front bay is taken, when you are adding a second controller, or when the platform never offered a front option. It is a tri mode controller: SAS, SATA, and NVMe all run behind the same 16 port 2x8 internal connection, with an 8GB non volatile flash backed cache on a PCIe 4.0 host interface, supporting hardware RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50, and 60 across up to 240 drives. Dell ships this identical card under two part numbers depending on the production run; they are physically and functionally interchangeable, and each part number is stocked separately so you can order the exact number your asset records require.

Compatible part numbers: 29XMF, 029XMF, CY3WW, 0CY3WW. Dell order code 405-AAXT. The leading zero forms are the same part; Dell prints both conventions.

Bracket note: this card circulates with a full height bracket and with a low profile bracket. The bracket is not part of the Dell part number, so confirm which one your chassis needs when you order.
