The Intel Xeon Gold 6348H is the top Gold SKU of the Cooper Lake family, a 3rd Gen Xeon Scalable processor built for four socket servers on the Cedar Island platform. It runs 24 cores and 48 threads at a 2.30GHz base clock with 4.20GHz max turbo, backed by 33MB of L3 cache and six channels of DDR4-2933 memory. Cooper Lake brought bfloat16 support to Intel DL Boost, accelerating AI training and inference on general purpose server silicon.

Compatible with: four socket Cedar Island platforms with Socket P+ (LGA4189) that accept 3rd Gen Intel Xeon Scalable Cooper Lake processors. Cooper Lake and Ice Lake are not interchangeable: the two families share a pin count but use different sockets and platforms. Mainstream dual socket Dell PowerEdge and HPE ProLiant servers do not support this processor family. Confirm platform support and chassis cooling for the 165W TDP before installation.
