The HPE 792851-001 is a standard efficiency fan module for 1U Gen9 ProLiant rack servers. It handles the ordinary thermal load of a DL360 Gen9 running typical CPU, memory and PCIe populations, which covers most deployed configurations. Nodes carrying accelerators or rear drive cages generally call for the high performance module instead.
