The HPE 740346-001 is the secondary socket processor heatsink for Gen9 ProLiant blade compute modules. The CPU 2 position sits downstream in the blade airflow path and takes a different block from the CPU 1 position, so the two are not interchangeable despite looking broadly similar. This part is what completes a second socket population on a Gen9 blade.

Compatible with: HPE ProLiant BL460c Gen9. Beyond that it fits Gen9 blade compute modules that accept the same secondary socket screw down pattern.
