The Dell M89H1 connects a riser installed PCIe NVMe extender card to the 24 bay 2.5 inch hybrid backplane, enabling the 12 NVMe capable bays (A2/B2 ports) in dense storage configurations. At roughly 75cm it reaches from the riser position to the backplane PCIe ports.
