The Dell PERC H730P MX is the PERC 9 generation RAID controller for Dell modular compute sleds. It is a mezzanine card, not a PCIe adapter: it seats on the sled board rather than in a riser, which is why a rack H730P will not substitute for it no matter how identical the silicon looks. A 2GB non volatile flash backed cache sits behind a PCIe 3.0 interface with eight ports of 12Gbps SAS and 6Gbps SATA, supporting hardware RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50, and 60.

Compatible part numbers: 2RFJJ, 02RFJJ. The leading zero form is the same part; Dell prints both conventions.
